Collection notice
Australian Privacy Principle 5 in the Privacy Act 1988 says we must tell you certain things when we collect your personal information. Please read this before you send the form.
Who we are. Geelong Landscaper, a service operated by Uplinkd Group Pty Ltd. Email hello@geelonglandscaper.com. Our full details are in our privacy policy.
What we collect. The details you type into the form: name, phone, email, suburb, the kind of landscaping work and your description of it. We also record when you sent it, the page you sent it from and that you agreed to it being passed on. It all comes from you, through the form.
Why. To pass your request to a local landscaping business so it can contact you about the job and a quote, and to follow up the request with you. We only send you tips emails if you tick that separate box, and you can unsubscribe whenever you like.
Is it required by law? No. No law requires you to give us this information.
If you leave details out. Without your contact details, suburb and the kind of work, we cannot pass the request on and no landscaper can contact you about it.
Who receives it. Normally one local landscaping business that works in your area, which may pay us for the referral. Our website host and email provider also handle it for us. Nobody else receives it unless the law requires or allows that.
Overseas. The website and the requests sent through it are stored on servers in the United States (DigitalOcean) and delivered through Cloudflare's network. Email goes through Brevo, which stores data in the European Union.
