In one paragraph
You describe the job once, in a short form. We aim to pass your request to a local landscaper within one business day. That landscaper is an independent local business, and they contact you to talk through the job and, if it suits you both, visit and quote. From that point you deal with them directly. The service costs you nothing and you never have to accept a quote.
The four steps
- Describe the job. Use the quote request form. We ask for what a landscaper would ask on a first call: your name, phone, email, suburb, the kind of work and a few words about the yard. Photos and measurements can wait for the visit.
- We read it and pass it on. A person reads every request. We send it to one landscaping business that works in your part of the region, only if you ticked the consent box.
- The landscaper gets in touch. They will usually want to see the site, because slope, soil, access for machines and drainage all change the price of outdoor work.
- You decide. Ask questions, compare it with other quotes if you like and go ahead only if it suits you.
What we do not do
We do not quote, design, build or supervise work, and we do not stand behind the work a landscaper does. Any agreement is between you and the business you choose. We never sell your details or pass them to more than one business for the same request.
Before you agree to a quote
Ask for a written, itemised quote and the business's ABN. For a larger job, ask whether it needs a registered domestic builder and a building permit, and check any registration yourself on the public register kept by the Victorian building regulator. Our FAQ explains when that applies.
How we are paid
Using the site is free for you. We may be paid by the landscaping business we pass your request to. That never changes what you pay them.
